Here at Moss Brook Church, we believe that God has given us a mission in this world: to share

the good news of salvation through Jesus to all people. In order to do that, we need to work

together; we need people with whom we can walk through life, and with whom we can serve.

This collaboration is not easy. There are barriers to overcome and responsibilities which we

must carry. But in the end, we have the blessing of participating in the building of the Body of

Christ, and we have a front row seat as God fulfills His purpose on this earth.

Without question, we live in an increasingly “commitment-phobic” world! Most of us want to be

involved in the things we believe have value, but to promise, to commit, often seems like just

too much!

Some of you may have noticed that at Moss Brook, we don’t have a traditional church

membership. Instead, we have “partnership.” Once a year, we give Christ followers who are

part of our family the opportunity to sign up as a “partner” for the coming year. Moss Brook

Partners commit to sharing the mission to reach lost people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We commit ourselves to God’s perfect will and to use the resources He has given us to

complete the work He has called us to do. We commit to being part of a small group, to care

and be cared for. And we commit to serving those around us, inside and outside of our church

family.

On September 12th & 13th, in our services, you will have an opportunity to make that

commitment - to partner with us in this mission to see lost people become reproducing

followers of Jesus!
